Thank you to the Village of Skokie for hosting their Annual Employee Charity Campaign once again in 2023!
Village of Skokie held the kick-off event for their Annual Employee Charity Campaign benefitting Skokie Community Foundation (SCF). The first kick-off event was held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Skokie Fire Station 17.
SCF Chair Ann Tennes, Executive Director Jim Szczepaniak, and Board of Director Member Una McGeough attended the event. Ann even brought her famous home-baked cookies to the buffet.
Village employees enjoyed the buffet meal, plus extra fun and games, all to raise funds for Skokie Community Foundation. We are always grateful to the Village of Skokie employees for raising money to invest in Skokie’s future!
The Village of Skokie Police Department continued the campaign by hosting a chili and soup cook-off in mid-November. Employees got to sample lots of chili and oodles of cups of noodles and to vote for their favorite.
SCF is so grateful to the Village of Skokie employees for choosing it as the sole beneficiary of its annual drive; employees know that all the dollars contributed stay in Skokie and help improve the quality of life for people and projects in need of support.
The Village of Skokie employees were successful in raising over $13,000 through the 2023 campaign.
