We’re celebrating a milestone in 2024! 10 years of grants for Skokie.
In 2014, Skokie Community Fund announced its inaugural grant cycle, welcoming collaborative proposals from non-profit organizations and local agencies. Five projects were chosen, resulting in collaborations from 10 non-profits / community agencies and a total of $25,000 awarded.
Since then, what was once the Skokie Community Fund has now grown into Skokie Community Foundation, its own 501(c)3 foundation focused on improving the lives of Skokie residents. We’ve awarded 45 grants totaling over $250,000 distributed.
