We’re giving our heartfelt thanks to the Village of Skokie and Skokie businesses that supported Skokie Community Foundation with the recent “Start Your Day in Skokie” Coffee Mug campaign.
People who bought a keepsake travel mug were able to get a free coffee or tea throughout the month of January at Kneads and Wants Artisan Bakery , Soul Good Coffee , Qahwah House , and Will’s Place Skokie . The Village Inn Pizzeria Sports Bar and Grill also contributed by selling the mugs. The campaign netted $1,200 for SCF, helping us to support Skokie’s future!
“The Village holds events in Downtown Skokie to remind people how important it is to spend locally and be a visitor in their own town,” said Carol White, Economic Vitality Coordinator for the Village of Skokie. “We will continue to hold events like this so the community can support and enjoy them.”
