Skokie Community Foundation is honored to be named 2023 Non-Profit of the Year by the Skokie Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
SCF Chair Ann Tennes (center) accepted the award from Chamber Board of Directors Chair Heather Jackson and Chamber President and CEO Howard Meyer at the Leadership Recognition and Board Installation Luncheon at Bar Siena on April 5, 2024.
Meyer commended SCF for its annual grants program, which funds partnerships between agencies to put in place programs that directly benefit the Skokie community. He also lauded the foundation for fostering a supportive, engaged and dynamic community in Skokie through meaningful giving, collaboration and community programming.
