Start your holiday shopping on Small Business Saturday, November 29, with a gift that keeps on giving! The “Start Your Day in Skokie” travel mug offers a free cup of coffee or tea every day in January 2026 and will be available for $40 while supplies last at these participating locations:

Big news, Skokie! Our 2027 grant applications are Big news, Skokie! Our 2027 grant applications are officially OPEN!

Skokie Community Foundation invites proposals in which organizations collaborate for the benefit of Skokie residents. SCF seeks to invest in organizations and projects that are poised to make a difference in the lives of Skokie residents and strengthen the community beyond the grant period. These proposals should also be scalable and sustainable. 

Head over to our website for to review grant application details and deadlines. Applications will close on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Attend the Oakton Park Clean and Green Day on Satu Attend the Oakton Park Clean and Green Day on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Oakton Park, 4701 Oakton St, Skokie, IL 60076. This event is hosted by @staterepkevinolickal, @senatorvillivalam, @skokieparks, the @skokiechamberofcommerce, and @gogreenskokie.

We will be celebrating Earth Month with a day of cleaning up and spreading mulch on trees at Oakton Park!
