Skokie Community Foundation’s 2027 grant applications opened on May 14, 2026!
Our grant approval process timeline is as follows:
May 14, 2026 – Applications open.
July 16, 2026 – Applications due.
August 2026 – Grants Review Committee meets for a preliminary application review.
September 2026 – Recommended applications will be reviewed by the entire Board of Directors.
October 2026 – The Board of Directors will approve the grant funding by October 1. Grantees will receive their award letters in early October.
November 2026 – All paperwork from the grantees is due.
January 2027 – Grantees receive their funding.
