Skokie Community Foundation’s 2026 grant applications will open on May 1, 2025! This is earlier than in past years in order to better accommodate the needs of our applicants and funding partners.
As a result, the application due date and awarding timeline will shift to the following dates:
May 1 – Applications open.
July 15 – Applications due.
August – Grants Review Committee meets for a preliminary application review.
September – Recommended applications will be reviewed by the entire Board of Directors.
October – The Board of Directors will approve the grant funding by October 1. Grantees will receive their award letters in early October.
November 1 – All paperwork from the grantees is due.
January – Grantees receive their funding.
