“Start Your Day In Skokie” Reusable Coffee Mug Campaign Begins November 29

Start your holiday shopping on Small Business Saturday, November 29, with a gift that keeps on giving! The “Start Your Day in Skokie” travel mug offers a free cup of coffee or tea every day in January 2026 and will be available for $40 while supplies last at these participating locations:

  • Will’s Place, 7927 Lincoln Ave.
  • Qahwah House, 5238 Touhy Ave.
  • Complimentary Cafe, 4933 Oakton St.
  • Blue Kale, 4907 Oakton St.

A portion of each sale benefits Skokie Community Foundation, making it a perfect way to shop local and give back.

Dolly + Coffee = 💜 We loved meeting all of you a Dolly + Coffee = 💜 

We loved meeting all of you at @soulgoodcoffee! The kickoff event for Soul Good Coffee's August initiative to raise funds for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Niles Township was an absolute blast. 

Our representatives from Skokie Community Foundation and @educationfoundation219 loved spreading the word about the program. Thank you to everyone who came out to support, including The Michael Family (photo 1) who enrolled their youngest in the program during the event and Dale Embers (photo 2, left) who snapped a photo with Dolly and Andi Drileck, State Director of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Illinois.

The fun doesn't stop here! Through the month of August, visit Soul Good Coffee and round up your purchase. The funds will be donated back to@imagination.library.nt to support purchasing books for young children in our community.
Exciting news for Niles Township! @soulgoodcoffee Exciting news for Niles Township! @soulgoodcoffee has selected Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Niles Township as their August Nonprofit Partner! 

During the month of August, round up your purchase and Soul Good Coffee will donate those funds to @imagination.library.nt. The funds will go to support purchasing free books for young children across Niles Township.

Kickoff the fun with Skokie Community Foundation and @educationfoundation219 on Sunday, Aug. 2, 9 - 11am. We'll be onsite to answer questions about the program! 

As one of the community partners bringing this program to Niles Township, Skokie Community Foundation would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Soul Good Coffee for supporting the program as their August nonprofit partner.

Skokie Community Foundation is proud to have secured the initial funding to bring the program to fruition via a $30,000 grant from the Madge Goldman Foundation and to serve as one of several community entities partnering to bring the program to life.
